Brunch in Pensacola: Your Guide to Benedicts & Bubbles

Brunch: it’s not just breakfast or lunch. It’s a lifestyle. Brunch is synonymous with good food and good company. It’s a weekend ritual of family and friends gathering to celebrate good times while devouring delicious dishes.

My girlfriends and I always catch up over Sunday brunches. We love trying new spots throughout town and revisiting our favorites. The best part about brunch is flexibility and timing. You can wake up early or sleep in late and still make it “in time.”

Here are several favorites divided by neighborhood for easy navigating.

Downtown Pensacola

Downtown Pensacola is really going to be brunch galore with no shortage of choices. The Pensacola Fish House gets my vote for number one with mimosas, famous cheesy gouda grits, and waterfront views. McGuire’s six-egg omelet and complimentary Irish coffee and beignets are a close second. Take a look through the M-A-N-Y choices below, we promise you can’t go wrong with any of these.

Pensacola Beach

Nothing is better to me than waterfront dining and almost every location on Pensacola Beach offers stunning views and even better food. Salt located inside the Hilton Pensacola Beach offers a luxury brunch buffet with seafood towers, eggs benedict and more. A personal favorite is the Grand Marlin on Pensacola Beach. Popular heavier dining items like their famous Grouper picatta is on every menu along with daily benedict specials, a fabulous assorted bakery basket and more. If you’re looking for stunning Gulf of Mexico views, Drift is where you’ll want to spend your brunch morning - get the crab omelette! If you’re trying to go casual and still have something delicious, you've got to hit Native Cafe. Felix's Restaurant and Oyster Bar is right on the Santa Rosa Sound and is sure to satisfy all your brunch cravings.

Uptown

Uptown Pensacola is where people work and shop in Pensacola and includes many community staples like Pensacola International Airport and Cordova Mall. Don’t sleep on George Bistro Bar as the restauraunt quickly made a name for itself worthy of taking a short drive from downtown or the beach. Chef George whips up popular favorites like his short rib mac and cheese, unique cocktails, and more.

East Pensacola

Located just next to downtown, East Pensacola is where the locals love to go. Chef Gus Sillivos has been cooking in the community for over 20-years and boasts simple eggs and diner plates at Scenic 90 café and Saturday brunch at Agapi Garden + Bistro, his newest venture. Here you can expect out-of-the-box items with a Mediterranean flair worthy of your Instagram feed.
