Take me out to the ball game! The Pensacola Blue Wahoos Baseball games are an excellent experience for all ages. Whether you're a sports buff or looking to kick back and enjoy time with family and friends, you won't regret attending a game. Grab a hot dog at the concessions or enjoy a cold drink. The views at the Wahoos Stadium are unbeatable, overlooking beautiful Pensacola Bay. It's not every day you get to enjoy the sights and sounds of a minor league baseball game with stunning views like these.

Palafox Market

The Palafox Market is a great way to immerse yourself in the culture here. It is in a central location downtown within walking distance of shopping and dining establishments. Several different vendors offer everything from local art to plants to jewelry. Stroll down Palafox Street to see what it's all about. The Palafox Market is open rain or shine every Saturday from 9 A.M. - 2 P.M. with the exception of Mardi Gras weekend.

Pensacola’s favorites are back in the skies! The US Navy Blue Angels perform practice shows beginning in March. The good news is – you can watch this show locally in several different spots. These include viewing by boat, Fort Pickens, a few spots downtown, Pensacola Lighthouse, and National Naval Aviation Museum. Tall Ships Festival

The Tall Ships are coming! The ships usually arrive in April every year. This is a unique experience in the heart of downtown Pensacola. You can experience five different ships in this year’s fleet. The event will feature touring, sailing trips, the Parade of Sail, and other fun things. Be sure to include this in your weekend plans, as you won’t want to miss out on making this special memory here.

A day in Pensacola is complete with putting your toes in the sand. The beaches are known for their beautiful white sands and crystal clear blue waters. The spring season is the perfect weather to get out there and soak up the sun or catch a gorgeous sunset. Pensacola Beach has something for everyone. Pensacola Crawfish Festival

Are you craving some Cajun cuisine? Good news! Pensacola’s Crawfish Festival takes place annually in April—head down to Seville Square & Fountain Park to satisfy your hunger. There will be live music, crawfish fresh from Louisiana, and traditional festival food options as well. It’s a fun environment and a great way to get outside and enjoy your time in the Downtown area.

Ferry Cruise

Who doesn’t love a good ferry ride? The Pensacola Bay City Ferry offers ferry service from Downtown to Ft. Pickens to Pensacola Beach. This is a great way to get outside and soak in the salt air. They offer a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages and will allow you to enjoy hop on/hop off tickets to explore the areas. There is even AC in the indoor areas to beat that summer heat. So come on and hop aboard; you never know what you might see! The 2023 season begins in March and runs through October.

Mullet Toss

The mullet toss is one of the Gulf Coast’s most fantastic beach parties and events! This takes place at the Flora-Bama and is a weekend-long event. Folks travel from all areas to attend and participate. Essentially, individuals will throw a mullet from Florida across the state line into Alabama to see who can throw it the furthest distance. There are awards for different age groups and genders, so things get pretty serious around here. There are many happenings at the toss, from music to fun activities. The best part – the proceeds from every mullet tossed goes to Local Youth Charities. Every year there has been more than $40,000 raised!

Grand Fiesta Parade

The Grand Fiesta Parade takes place annually in June and is a "grand" time. Come enjoy the sights and sounds of Downtown Pensacola with family and friends as the decked-out floats take Palafox Street. Grab a bite to eat or a drink before and make the most of this fun parade evening! This makes for a perfect night out in the heart of Downtown.
