Baptist Health Care
Baptist Health Care is 15th among AmericaÕs "100 Best Companies To Work For," according to Fortune magazine, which on Jan. 6 released 2003 list of the nationÕs most employee-friendly organizations.
This is the second consecutive year that Baptist Health Care has made the Fortune list, which includes such world-class companies as Microsoft (number 20), American Express (number 36), Starbucks (number 47), Harley-Davidson (number 51) and Texas Instruments (number 95).
The recognition demonstrates that "healthcare can be a positive work environment if an organization keeps its focus on customers and the employees who deliver the care and services to those customers," said Al Stubblefield, president and CEO of Baptist Health Care.
"To me, Baptist Health Care is its workforce," Stubblefield said. "It is my commitment to keep our focus on delivering great service to our customers and having a great place to work for every employee that chooses to join us. The Fortune rankings are an affirmation that we are on the right track."
