Celestine Bed and Breakfast
Welcome to The Celestine
The Celestine Bed & Breakfast (“The Celestine”) is an elegant Bed and Breakfast in a historic 1880s home, in the heart of Pensacola. Experience southern hospitality and charm in Florida’s First City, located on the farthest northwest corner of Florida's Gulf Coast. The Celestine is situated in Pensacola’s historic North Hill district, which is a stone's throw from downtown. We're within short distance to many of Pensacola's best attractions including Pensacola Bay, Pensacola Beach, the Blue Wahoos Minor League Stadium, Historic Belmont-Devillier’s Neighborhood, Palafox Street Saturday Market, and more! All guest rooms are well-appointed with luxurious accommodations and private en-suite bathrooms. The house, grounds, and neighborhood are beautiful and inviting, another testament of our relentless attention to detail and service. We go all-in to create a friendly, relaxed, and personalized experience.
What's In a Name?
Every room has a story. Celestine Bed and Breakfast is lovingly named for Celestine Elizabeth Tolliver Harrison, the owners’ great-grandmother, and the matriarch of the Harrison family. Celestine was born in Pensacola in 1908. She married Vandybilt ("Buster") Harrison in 1928, and together, they had five children and eight grandchildren. Along with a big family, Celestine had a big heart, and she loved opening her home to guests near and far. The guestrooms at The Celestine are each named for one of Celestine and Buster's children. Because they also raised two of their grandchildren in their home, there's an additional space named for them as well! The Celestine honors a legacy that is steeped in excellence and love. Our beautifully curated spaces intertwine family and Pensacola history.
What's Our Vibe?
We embrace luxury and are, simultaneously, down-to-earth. The Celestine Vibe is warm and friendly, sophisticated and refined, and all things beautiful. We embrace community, love story-telling, and love to laugh! We look forward to welcoming you Experience Celestine soon.
