Century Chamber of Commerce and Town Council
Welcome to Century, the "Northern Gate to the Sunshine State." The Century Chamber of Commerce and Welcome Center was established in the late 1980's by an all-volunteer group of citizens and business owners to promote Century's local businesses and provide economic development opportunities within our community. The Town of Century is located in the northwestern "panhandle" of Florida, in close proximity to regional and international airports, a deep seaport, military bases, CSX rail and Interstates 65, 10 and 110. Award-winning beaches, world class shopping, a new waterfront stadium, fine arts, minor-league baseball, hockey, national flight academy and much more are a short drive away. Century is bordered by the Escambia River with boating, fishing and camping, and is home to 130 beautiful acres of fresh water known as Lake Stone, a fisherman’s paradise stocked with Florida bass, bluegill, shellcracker and channel catfish. In nearby Santa Rosa County is the renowned Beaches to Woodlands tour, where you can bike, hike or kayak from dazzling white beaches to the majestic Blackwater State Forest.
