University of Florida IFAS Escambia County Sea Grant Extension

The Sea Grant Marine Program provides research based information to coastal residents and businesses. Escambia County Sea Grant provides programming that helps to restore a healthy bay and manage invasive and nuisance species. They also work with marine related industries to enhance their business and workforce development and increase marine science literacy. MARINE EDUCATION & WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT Sea Grant provides classes, trainings, field schools, and a lecture series to increase the public’s understanding of our estuarine resources and to enhance marine related industries.
