Pensacola Archaeological Society Free Lecture
February 11 “Getting Started with Heritage Monitoring Scouts” Heritage Monitoring Scouts is a public engagement program focused on tracking changes to cultural sites at risk, particularly those impacted by climate change in the form of erosion and sea level rise. We will walk through the steps to get started as a Scout, what to expect on a site visit, and how you can work with FPAN to document some of Northwest Florida's most important and endangered archaeological sites, historic cemeteries, and structures.
