2022 Spring Passenger Survey Results
Thank you to the 542 passengers who took a moment to fill out the Let Your Comments Fly survey. Your feedback is the best way to let us know how we can improve and help you Fly Easy.
- 542 responses from 37 states and eight different countries!
- A Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 92, which is very high for the travel industry. (Net Promoter Score is a standardized measure of customer satisfaction across a variety of industries. Scores range from a low of -100 to a high of +100. So, our score of 92 is pretty fantastic!)
- Over three-quarters of travelers (77%) said the airport represented Pensacola’s personality and hospitality.
Speaking of results, we continue to be grateful that you choose us as your Gateway to the Gulf Coast. Passenger data for May 2022 shows continued growth in travelers coming through PNS - up 5% from May 2021, which was a record-setting year.
This is great news for our community, local businesses, restaurants, and retailers, and it makes us proud to call the Gulf Coast home!
Employment Opportunities At the Airport
At Pensacola International Airport, we take pride in being a good neighbor, being part of this community, and supporting good jobs and local businesses. In addition to air travel, we also have several growing companies on airport property, and many of them are hiring.
FCS, a janitorial company serving PNS, is looking to fill janitorial and supervisor assistant positions. If you are interested, click here for more information.
ST Engineering, which provides airplane service and maintenance, is adding over 100 jobs in Pensacola the next 6 months. Positions range from production and maintenance technician positions to Quality, Materials, and professional jobs. Find out more about opportunities with ST Engineering at this website.
Finally, we at the airport will be looking to hire an additional maintenance technician. This will be a City of Pensacola employment opportunity, and you can find out more here.
Don't Forget: Arrive Early, Check Your Destinations!
In case you missed it, we recently completed the construction of an additional parking lot here at PNS. The new surface lot adds 330 new parking spaces with 11 electric charging stations. This additional parking will help you Fly Easy when you are on the go.
We would also remind you that even with additional parking, there are many things beyond our control regarding flight schedules, security screenings, and the weather to keep in mind.
Please make sure to give yourself plenty of time to park, check-in, pass through security, and arrive at your gate on time to board your flight. We recommend getting to the airport two hours before your scheduled departure time to be safe.
And as always, check with your airline for the latest information on your flight, or click here to visit our Flight Status page.
