Tempest Tourism Academy
Visit Pensacola Digital Marketing Manager Shawn Brown traveled to Detroit, MI, for the Tempest Tourism Academy. He contributed to the Tempest Marketing Customer Advisory Board discussion and attended several sessions to gain insights on optimizing our digital presence and learned more about how a DMO can transform the landscape of travel through technology and marketing.
Garden & Gun Seafood Rodeo
In partnership with one of the South’s most notable publications, Visit Pensacola joined forces with Garden & Gun to host the 3rd Annual Seafood Rodeo. This eclectic gulf-to-table event invited travelers to experience The Way to Beach™ - a deep-sea fishing excursion with Pensacola anglers and chefs followed by a cook-what-you-catch fine dining experience with Pensacola’s hottest chefs and mixologists.
Special thank you to Chef Blake Rushing, Chef Gus P. Silivos, and Chef Irv Miller who were able to provide an unforgettable and delicious evening. Thanks to the Union Public House team for serving up amazing cocktails and taking care of the event. Pensacola is The Way to Beach™ and we are proud to show off our culinary scene.
Military Reunion Network Summit
Visit Pensacola Marketing and Communications Manager Lindsey Jackson traveled to Fairfax, VA for the Military Reunion Network Summit. The MRN Summit provides invaluable knowledge and updates for Military Reunion Planners, enhancing their expertise in organizing successful reunions. Lindsey met with over 25 meeting planners and is excited for what's to come for our military tourism in Pensacola.
