UPDATES & MORE FROM THE GATEWAY TO THE GULF COAST

If the weather is any indication, summer is definitely on it's way here to the Gulf Coast. At Pensacola International Airport, we're already gearing up for an exciting travel season. We've expanded our parking and have some other improvements in the works to welcome everyone as the Gateway to the Gulf Coast.

Continued Growth, New Parking Options!

Pensacola continues to be a popular destination for travelers. The latest passenger data for April 2022 shows a 16% increase in travelers from April of 2021. This continued growth is great news for our community and our tourism businesses.

We know that this growth also creates some opportunities to improve your passenger experience. We heard from you that improved parking was important for your Fly Easy experience. So, earlier this month we completed construction and opened Economy Lot 3, located next to the Airport Hyatt Place Hotel.

This new surface lot will add more than 300 parking spaces for passengers, including eleven electric vehicle charging stations. In addition, the new lot also includes two handicap-accessible electric charging stations.

Economy Lot 3 will have the same parking rates as the other Economy Lots, which is $2 an hour, for a maximum of $8 per day.
