The new and improved Visit Pensacola App is now here! Getting to Pensacola is easy, but leaving, that’s the hard part. Whether you’re in town on business or pleasure or one of the lucky locals, the Visit Pensacola App was built with you in mind. With geolocation features and an itinerary builder, finding what to do while in Pensacola is both fun, fast and easy!
Use the VP App to find restaurants, events, attractions, entertainment and more. Check out the instructions to launch the new app below and click here to learn more.
INSTALLING ON IOS
Open your Safari browser on your iOS device.
Go to the app website (https://app.visitpensacola.com).
Tap on the "Share" button at the screen's bottom. It looks like a square with an upward arrow.
Scroll down and look for the "Add to Home Screen" option and tap on it.
Rename the app if desired, and then tap on "Add" located in the top right corner of the screen.
Once the app is installed, you can open it by tapping on the icon on your home screen.
If prompted, allow the app to access your location to provide information about nearby attractions and events.
INSTALLING ON ANDROID
Open your Chrome browser on your Android device.
Go to the app website (https://app.visitpensacola.com).
Tap on the menu button (usually represented by three dots) in the top right corner of the screen.
Look for the "Add to Home Screen" option and tap on it.
Rename the app if desired, and then tap on "Add" located in the top right corner of the screen.
Once the app is installed, you can open it by tapping on the icon on your home screen.
If prompted, allow the app to access your location to provide information about nearby attractions and events.

Visit Florida Governor's Conference
The annual Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism took place from September 6 - 8. Visit Pensacola team members Darien Schaefer, Nicole Stacey, Kaya Man, Wandy Samuel, Lindsey Steck-Jackson, Melissa Bailey, and Tia Robbins traveled to Tampa FL for the conference. 🏖️
Visit Pensacola was honored by VISIT FLORIDA with a Flagler Award at the recent 2023 Florida Governor's Conference on Tourism in Orlando. Named for Henry Flagler, the Flagler Awards were established in 2000 to recognize outstanding tourism marketing in Florida.
Visit Pensacola took home the coveted Henry Award, the top award given in each category, for the special event category for its work on the 2022 Sun Belt Basketball Championship Promotion. The campaign garnered over 29,000 attendees, nearly 7,000 room nights, $2.8 million in visitor spending, and $2.4 million in economic impact.
