Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism
Some of the Visit Pensacola team attended VISIT FLORIDA's Governor's Conference on Tourism. They took home the silver to Pensacola at the 2024 Flagler Awards. The award came from the mobile marketing category for the augmented reality feature at the Visit Pensacola CUBED installation. The team had a great time in Tampa filled with networking and learning from industry professionals.
USS Richard M. McCool Jr. (LPD 29) Commissioning
What an honor it was to have the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Richard M. McCool Jr. (LPD 29) commissioned at NAS Pensacola over the weekend. This was Pensacola's 7th ship commissioning, and the community showed great support for this momentous occasion. Visit Pensacola was honored to be a part of the commissioning committee, securing over 100 hotel rooms for the sailors aboard the ship.

Visit Pensacola has a vast portfolio of assets, one of the most significant being our connections within the hospitality industry. However, we've noticed that many partnerships between entities are underutilized, especially when creating compelling bids for meeting proposals (RFPs). The goal of this meeting was to connect our sales team with partners that can help you craft comprehensive, one-stop-shop bids for meeting planners. These planners prefer seamless, bundled services rather than managing multiple contracts.
