Visit Pensacola Announces 2020 Grant Recipients
Pensacola, Fla. – Visit Pensacola is pleased to announce its 2020 grant recipients for events taking place between May 1, 2020 – Sept. 30, 2020. Twice a year, Visit Pensacola allocates funds from its annual budget to a grant program for local groups and organizations that coordinate events or visitor experiences with a demonstrated history of visitor impact or significant potential to draw visitors to the area.
“This year, we are pleased to award marketing dollars to seven events throughout the community,” Interim President/CEO, Jack Brown said. “These dollars support events and organizations, providing them with the tools to reach out-of-market audiences that they typically couldn’t. By focusing on the area’s quality of place, our community has the opportunity to show the world our destinations greatest assets.”
