Pensacola, Fla. – Annually, Visit Pensacola allocates funds to its event grant program for local groups and organizations that coordinate events or visitor experiences with a demonstrated history of visitor impact or significant potential to draw visitors to the area. Since implementing the program in 2015, Visit Pensacola has awarded over $1.6 million to numerous events and organizations within Escambia County.
“Following a year off due to budget restraints and the pandemic, we’re very excited to see the return of the program,” President and CEO Darien Schaefer said. “These dollars will provide valuable support to events in our community and allow them the opportunity to market people they otherwise might not be able to.”
