Visit Pensacola Awards 9 Community Event Marketing Grants for Fiscal Year 2023-24; Festivals, Dogs, & More on the Horizon

Pensacola, FL – Visit Pensacola announced today its event grant recipients for the 2024 fiscal year taking place Oct. 1, 2023 – Sept. 30, 2024.
Annually, Visit Pensacola allocates tourism development tax dollars from its budget to a marketing grant program for events in the area.
“These grants help market events and attract visitors that contribute invaluable economic impact to Escambia County,” President and CEO Darien Schaefer said. “At Visit Pensacola, our priority is to not only increase tourism in the area, but to build our destination’s products, businesses, and people to make our community ultimately better in the long run.”
Developed in 2015, the grant program has awarded over $1.6 million to numerous events and organizations' marketing efforts within Escambia County.
This year's grant recipients include:
Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival | Oct. 4-8, 2023
Pensacon Halloween Fest | Oct. 7-8, 2023
Entrecon 2023: What’s Next? | Oct. 27, Nov. 1-2, 2023
Greek Festival of Pensacola | Nov. 3-4, 2023
UWF Pensacola Makers Faire | Nov. 10-11, 2023
O’Riley’s SantaCon 2023 | Dec. 1-3, 2023
Wolfgang – Pawdi Gras | Jan. 28, 2023
Radio is Not Dead! Live Radio Event | Feb. 1-4, 2024
Council on Aging – Kites on the Coast | March 15-16
