Visit Pensacola Announces Internal Promotions, Hiring Three New Positions

Pensacola, FL – Visit Pensacola is pleased to announce the promotion of three team members within the organization.

Previously, Director of Marketing & Communications Nicole Stacey was promoted to Vice President of Destination Development. Kaya Man, formerly Destination Sales Manager, has been promoted to Director of Sales & Services, and Wandy Samuel, previously Accounting Manager, has been promoted to Director of Finance and Administration.

"One of my ongoing priorities has been to provide paths for the staff to grow within Visit Pensacola,” President and CEO Darien Schaefer said. We have a great team of dedicated individuals passionate about our community and these three deserving individuals have all demonstrated the ability to take that next step.”

In October, Visit Pensacola's Board of Directors approved an updated organizational chart to align with the company's current roles and responsibilities. Among those, the Vice President of Destination Development was established to provide leadership for the marketing and sales team as well as assist the President & CEO in the implementation of Visit Pensacola’s goals and objectives.

Back in 2020, Visit Pensacola had to reduce staff due to budgetary cuts caused by Covid’s nationwide shutdown. The organization is now able to restore a few of those positions and is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant, Website Associate, and a Destination Sales Manager.
