The Blue Angels start practicing during the spring on select Tuesdays and Wednesdays from March through October. Be sure to check their schedule for specific dates and times.
Outdoor dining is another popular activity during this time – the weather is so enjoyable, and we have plenty of options! Beach weather is also a bonus in the spring! With stunning white sandy beaches to explore, it makes for the perfect springtime trip.
Not to mention, the springtime is full of outdoor festivals and events. The McGuires 5K takes place around St. Patrick’s Day and is a significant event in Downtown Pensacola. If running (or walking) is your thing, it’s time to sport your best green outfit and hit the streets for the McGuires 5K.
Located in Seville Square, JazzFest takes place in April and is a fabulous way to get outdoors and enjoy the sounds of jazz music. JazzFest has been taking place in Pensacola for over 40 years now and brings the community together. The Pensacola Crawfish Festival is usually towards the end of April and is one of Florida’s largest crawfish boils! With tons of vendors, arts and crafts, and entertainment, it’s sure to be a fun weekend event.
Also in the spring is the Interstate Mullet Toss at the Flora-Bama. Participants will throw mullets across the Florida/Alabama state line. This mullet-tossing party is very serious business – there are awards and a whole lot of beach fun.
