Blue Angels Air Shows
Pensacola is home to two annual airshows, the Pensacola Beach Airshow featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels in July, and the Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow in November.
Blue Angels
Every year, the U.S. Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron performs perilous maneuvers in exhibitions over dozens of communities around the country, but only in Pensacola can we call them, "Our Blues."
Since 1955, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels have called Pensacola home, rewarding locals and visitors alike the pleasure of seeing the F/A-18 Super Hornets practice on a weekly basis. From March through November, the Blues take to the skies, flying in tight formations over the city and the over the water. Additionally, two formal airshows take place, the Pensacola Beach Airshow in July, and the Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow in November that closes out the formal season.
