NAS Pensacola
NAS Pensacola is a prominent United States Navy base known for its historic significance as the "Cradle of Naval Aviation." It serves as the primary training facility for naval aviators and is home to the renowned Blue Angels flight demonstration team.

Experience hands-on history at the National Naval Aviation Museum located on board Pensacola Naval Air Station. See more than 4,000 artifacts and over 150 beautifully restored aircraft representing Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard aviation.
Climb 177 steps up the historic Pensacola Lighthouse for one of the most beautiful views on the Gulf Coast. Built in 1859, the lighthouse is located on board NAS Pensacola, right across from the National Naval Aviation Museum.
When you explore the museum from March to November, you have the chance to witness the renowned Blue Angels in action. The yearly Homecoming Air Show occurs here in November, while the flight demonstration squadron conducts their practice sessions over the NAS Pensacola museum most Tuesday and Wednesday mornings throughout the season. Fort Barrancas is high on a bluff overlooking the entrance to Pensacola Bay, Fort Barrancas stands as a monument to the legacy of America’s early homeland defense. Built with 6 million bricks, walls 4 feet thick and 20 feet high, Fort Barrancas was completed in 1844 and remains an example of military engineering and a marvel of human ingenuity.
The Cubi Bar Café is open daily 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and serves soups, salads and deli sandwiches. Our breads are baked fresh daily on the premises.
The NFA is a self-supporting, tuition-based educational program. The National Flight Academy development team currently includes the best and brightest from the entertainment industry as well as leaders in education, simulation and training. For grades 7-12.
With its old Naval live oaks, many water holes and coveted location along Bayou Grande, A.C. Read is one of the most beautiful courses in the Navy as well as the Florida panhandle. A.C. Read Golf Club offers 27 championship holes with an additional 18-hole executive course.
Barrancas National Cemetery is located on the grounds of the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida, and traces its history to three 19th century forts that once guarded the entry to one of the best natural harbors in the Gulf of Mexico--Pensacola Bay.
