Meet The Staff

Kaya Man joined Visit Pensacola in 2018 as the Partner Relations Manager. She was responsible for partnership development and maintenance for the organization. In 2021 promoted to Destination Sales Manager, serving as the sales representative to the group and leisure market to generate a positive economic impact for Escambia County. In 2023 promoted to Director of Sales and Service, overseeing all sales efforts in group, trade and leisure markets, partner relations and the visitor centers. She has also taken on the role as the Northwest Florida Beaches Sales Representative to the Council. Kaya brings over 20 years of hospitality experience to the Visit Pensacola team.

Man spent the last eight years prior to joining the team, serving, managing, and the head trainer at The Grand Marlin on Pensacola Beach. Previously, she owned an event planning company and Elephant Seasoning, a catering and seasoning business started by her father. She holds a bachelor’s degree in restaurant and hospitality management from the Pensacola Junior College and University of West Florida.

Man is actively involved in the community, serving as UWF Women in Leadership Conference hospitality co-chair, Sun Belt Conference Team host committee, Sea Grant Advisory Team, donating time to the Children’s hospital, served as the Greater Pensacola Tennis Ladies League captain for 8 years, and a part owner/ operations manager to Tighten up Tennis. Outside of the office, she enjoys cooking, playing tennis, fishing, traveling, and spending time at the beach with her family.

Prior to joining our team, Lana worked in the private sector as a Bookkeeper and Accounting Manager in various businesses in various locations to include Kentucky, Illinois and Florida. Lana originally moved to Pensacola in 1978 when her family moved here as a duty station of her father’s at USN Saufley Field Base, Pensacola. Upon graduating from UWF in 1988 as one of the school’s first class of freshman in 1983, she began her career in accounting at various local CPA firms. She left the area in 1993 to move to central Kentucky and finally returned ‘home’ to Pensacola/Pace area in 2016 after expanding her family with four beautiful daughters. Lana considers her greatest accomplishment to being a Mom. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, playing cards with her family, and enjoying listening to live music along the Gulf Coast as much as she has time to do.

Lindsey Steck joined the Visit Pensacola team in 2017 and is responsible for copywriting, writing for press, public relations, integrated marketing, content curation and social media management.

Prior to Visit Pensacola, Steck served as a corporate communications assistant for the Kansas City Chiefs where she served as a public relations contact for community outreach events. She was responsible for writing for press and publication, press conference facilitation, public relations, football communications support, assisting club executives and game day support. Throughout her time in college, she served in athletic communications as the public relations contact for men and women’s cross country and additionally assisted with 13 other sports.

Steck began her journey in the tourism industry working for Florida House on Capitol Hill, the country’s only state embassy in Washington, D.C. There, she supported events, assisted administration and welcomed guests from across the globe. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations from the University of West Florida.

Outside of the office, Steck is actively involved in the community. She currently volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida, Junior League of Pensacola and serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Public Relations Association. In her free time, you can find her scouring farmer’s markets, watching NFL football and working on her East Hill cottage.

Blake Howerton joined Visit Pensacola in 2022 as the social media and content associate and is responsible for planning, creating, and implementing social media content across eight platforms.

Blake is a Pensacola native. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in communications with a focus in advertising from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville in 2018, Blake moved back home to begin his marketing career. Before joining the Visit Pensacola team, he served as the communications coordinator at Studer Family Entertainment & Retail for 3 years, and as the marketing and communications coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida for over a year. Blake has a passion for sharing Pensacola’s story with others.

Off the clock, Blake enjoys photography, cooking, watching the sunset on the beach with his friends, and dining at Pensacola’s many restaurants. He is actively involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida serving on the Big Gala Committee.

Tia Robbins joined the Visit Pensacola team as the Destination Sales Manager in February 2023. In her role, she is responsible for facilitating leads and inquiries for group sales, attending trade shows, developing relationships with clients promoting Escambia County, and more.

Prior to joining Visit Pensacola, Tia began her career in public relations and marketing in the music and entertainment industry in New York City. After relocating to the Pensacola area in 2012 she became deeply committed to, and passionate about serving the Pensacola community. In 2014, Robbins and her husband co-founded Mr. Robbins’ Neighborhood, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that serves underserved student athletes in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties in Florida, by positioning, preparing and developing program participants for success beyond high school sports.

In addition to working in the non-profit sector, Tia found a passion in entrepreneurship and supporting small businesses and in 2020 founded, Taste of Pensacola, LLC., a unique online gifting service that partners with local area makers and artisans to feature in a selection of curated and themed gift boxes.

In her free time, Robbins enjoys traveling, being a sports mom, and making memories with her husband, Fred and two sons, Tre’ and Troi.
